NT: Cyclone watch for NT north and east coast

A cyclone watch has been extended towards Darwin, as the weather bureau warns a cyclone
could develop off the Northern Territory coast tomorrow night.

The cyclone watch has been extended west from Elcho Islands to the Goulburn Islands,
300km east of Darwin.

It extends east over coastal and island communities to the NT-Queensland border.
