A storm is brewing in the western part of the city as neighbors who like having a supervised center for their teenagers nearby clash with others who think that participants in the year-old city program are destroying the school building used.
"It's not working out as well as they say it is," said Suomi Amodeo, co-president of the School 27 Parent-Teacher Association. "And the (elementary school) kids attending the school should not have to suffer because of it."
Amodeo said she is joined by other PTA members who think that a city Parks and Recreation Department-run teen drop-in center begun at the school …
